Objectives

Before, we were sending our newsletters  exclusively using Lotus Notes, thus, it was not possible to review the results of the  messages sent to travel agencies registered in our inside sales department, because this system didn’t offer statistics.

Moreover, this system didn’t offer newsletters with attractive designs, all this has been solved by working with Mailrelay, which provides a software with 100% delivery of email marketing campaigns.

In addition to saving time and effort, we managed to improve our open rates in all the actions related to email marketing, and although it is always very difficult to assess causes and effects, we have noticed a substantial increase in the number of users who are booking our cruises. I would also emphasize that the assistance and advice offered by the staff of Mailrelay was very helpful to improve continuously the effectiveness of our email marketing campaigns.

Actions taken

The Mailreay customer service department is in constant contact with the Iberocruceros staff, therefore, the customer started sending newsletters (A few minutes after creating the Mailrelay account), and its period of adaptation using the system was very fast, thanks to the expeence of the IberoCruceros staff.

The company also signed for a contract with a really advantageous cost, taking into account the quality of their campaigns / subscriber, so that the customer’s current CPM is the lowest possible, they never had such a good contract before, since they started working with e-mail marketing campaigns.

Results

With Mailrelay, the customer could simplify the creation of the email campaigns, without consuming all their infrastructure resources and, thanks to statistics that are available, it was possible to know how each subscribers was interacting with the campaigns and promotions that were sent.
