In addition, some features were custom-developed for us, such as access to the sending logs in CSV format from the platform.<\/p>\n<h3>Actions Taken<\/h3>\n<p>Our first experiences when we started testing the bulk email tool were very satisfactory in terms of performance, but we ran into some issues with our newsletters reaching the inbox. The <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Mail<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">relay<\/span><\/strong> technical team identified the problems and the exact adjustments our sending methodology required.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, they optimized an outgoing IP balancing system for us at no cost, which detected any problem with the IP in use and switched it if necessary. They also implemented the DKIM and SPF settings needed to improve the reputation of our emails and ensure the best possible inbox placement and response.<\/p>\n<p>Another big help for us was on the commercial side. Since we had occasional overages that were hard to plan for, <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Mail<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">relay<\/span><\/strong> also set up a custom contract for us that charged overages at the unit price of our contracted tier, saving us extra costs on those overages.<\/p>\n<h3>Result<\/h3>\n<p>We contacted <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Mail<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">relay<\/span><\/strong> to evaluate an alternative to our provider at the time, SMTP.com.
