A standard SMS has a limit of 160 characters in ASCII format and 70 characters in Unicode format. If your text is longer, the system will automatically concatenate it, and you’ll be charged for multiple SMS messages based on the length.

SMS campaigns must respect the local regulations of the recipient country. Some regions have restrictions such as specific sending times, the obligation to include opt-out instructions, or sender registration. For example, in France, marketing messages are only allowed between 8:00 and 22:00 from Monday to Saturday. Outside of these hours or on Sundays/holidays, they are blocked, although transactional SMS can be sent at any time.
