About El Siglo de Torreón
El Siglo de Torreón is a print newspaper and one of the most important in Mexico’s Comarca Lagunera region. It was founded in 1922 in Torreón, Coahuila, by Antonio de Juambelz y Bracho, under the direction of Joaquín Moreno.
Objectives
The main goal was to fix the inbox delivery problem caused by their local IPs being listed on RBLs. In addition, El Siglo needed an email marketing service with effective support and secure servers that would guarantee the privacy of their data. They were looking for proactive support, with advice on improving delivery and fixing errors, as well as suggestions on design options to come up with new mailing formats.
Actions Taken
The first goal was achieved simply by switching to Mailrelay (the client had tried other platforms that failed to deliver correctly to the inbox).
