There are many users who ask us how to modify the small logo which you can see at the top of the Mailrelay accounts panel, on the right, the answer is: with Gravatar.
In this short tutorial I’ll show you how to change it.
And so you can customize your email marketing software to display your logo.
IMPORTANT: It is necessary, for it to work, that you register in Gravatar using the same email used when creating the Mailrelay account.
What is gravatar?
Gravatar is a web service that allows you to upload a photo or Logo, so that it is used by other services.
Usually used to display your default image, when you leave comments on a Blog or other website.
But it can be used for other purposes.
How to create a Gravatar?
This is a very easy process. Just access this URL:
And you will see the “Sign in” button
In the next screen, you will have the “create account” option.
You will receive an email to confirm your account.
IMPORTANT: The Gravatar and WordPress.com accounts are related, so don’t panic if the system indicates that you have created an account at WordPress.com.
By clicking on the link to activate the account, you will be redirected to a screen like this:
Click Sign in to Gravatar.
You will access the tab for the configuration of different Gravatars.
Adding a new Gravatar to your account
If you just created the account, you will not have any images uploaded to your profile, so you will probably see this screen:
You should click on the option “Add one by clicking here! “.
And in “Upload new”:
You only need to follow the steps to upload the image.
There are several steps, including cropping the image, to display the best possible image as your Gravatar.
You will also need to add a rating to the image:
This is an evaluation on whether the image is for all types of users or not.
